Job Description

GLENORCHY CITY COUNCIL is hiring a part-time Cadet Environmental Health Officer in Montrose, TAS. The role involves supporting the Environmental Health Section. Candidates should be enrolled in an approved course for Environmental Health Officer status and possess good communication and organizational skills. We are looking for a Cadet Environmental Health Officer to join the team. You will be responsible for providing support to the Environmental Health Section.

The Successful Applicant Will Have
• Enrolment in or the ability to enrol in an approved course of study required for appointment as an Environmental Health Officer in Tasmania.
• Awareness of current public and environmental health legislation, guidelines, Australian Standards, by-laws and codes of practice.
• An ability to work as an effective team member with developed time management, organisation and communication skills.

Position Hours: Part-time, 33.33 hours fortnight.
