Our Client, a Global Strategic Management Consulting firm, is seeking to recruit an Analyst with a background in climate and natural resources within their dynamic Climate, Natural Resources and Infrastructure team of professionals.

Main Purpose of the role :

This role will entail supporting the team in project delivery work and project coordination. The role will include involvement in a wide variety of strategic level and technical projects within each of these fields that will involve application of technical knowledge as well as research into topics associated with the natural environment and climate change, and how these interact with people and infrastructure.

Are you willing to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and be involved in multiple projects, providing research and technical inputs into development-related projects, including the development of reports articulating outcomes? You will be well supported by highly qualified and experienced senior staff and would be part of an energetic, growing, and successful team that is tackling developmental challenges facing countries in the context of a changing climate and ever-increasing pressure on landscapes because of population growth.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :
• Provision of research into specific project-related issues and synthesis of information collected during the process.
• Where appropriate, and relevant to the available skills, undertake technical analysis to feed into project delivery.
• Application of general knowledge across the Climate and Natural Resource space to help shape and develop project outcomes.
• Development of project deliverables including report writing and development of slide decks.
• Presentation of results to clients under the guidance of senior staff.

Qualifications and experience

Required
• An Undergraduate and Master's degree in the fields of Climate and Natural Resources. This would include, but not be limited to, degrees related to Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Land Use, Natural Resource Policy or Law, Water Resources, Forestry.
• 1-3 years of working in a consultancy in any of the fields associated with Climate and Natural Resources.

• Ability to adapt and be flexible to apply knowledge at a strategic and/or technical level as the need arises.
• Ability to undertake thorough research of topics in the Climate and Natural Resources space and apply logic to the outcomes to address a particular developmental challenge.
• Ability to develop written project outputs of high quality and including sufficient detail to meet client needs.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver analytical tasks at a high quality.
• An energetic problem-solver, who is open-minded with multi-perspective views on international development, natural resource management, infrastructure delivery, governance systems, and policies.
• Ability to work as part of a diverse team across different geographies.
• A team player who is productive working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
• Desire to contribute towards sustainable natural resource management and development and to make an impact in the lives of communities across the globe.
