Job Description

Clean Harbors is hiring a Class 3 driver in North Saanich, BC, responsible for collecting and transporting liquid waste. Duties include following assigned routes, documenting pickups, and maintaining customer relationships. The position offers competitive pay starting at $29/hr, health benefits, and opportunities for growth. Applicants need a Class 3 CDL and strong communication skills. This role is not remote, as it involves on-site work at customer locations.
Safety Kleen in Duncan, BC is seeking a Class 3 driver responsible for retrieving bulk collection of used oil, anti-freeze and/or related liquid waste from various service centers. The driver will offload waste at terminals/tank farms for transport to refineries for recycling. Follow assigned routing per management and central routing, document quantities per pick-up location, adjustments/incidents, and safety logs. Represent Company (front facing) at customer locations.

• Operate Class B Tanker Truck and Box Truck. Follow set daily routes as assigned by manager & central routing (on time achievement/on time performance).
• Load and offload truck at customer locations and company disposal facilities.
• Document all actions (i.e., collection volumes and route edits) via electronic logging device.
• Recommend potential products or services to customers by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs. Generate new leads in the field for increased services.
• Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with customers.
• Clean out sediment from tanks, sinks and/or drums using hoses following local, state and federal compliance regulations.
• Responsible for managing warehouse inventory.
• Class 3 Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Works well independently and have a strong work ethic.
• Highschool education or equivalent
