Job Description

System Transport is hiring a CDL A Regional Truck Driver for long-haul flatbed driving primarily in the Southern states. Candidates must have a CDL A license and preferably 6 months of flatbed experience. The job offers competitive pay, bonuses, and various forms of compensation including detention and layover pay. Drivers typically spend 12-14 days on the road with short home breaks. Benefits include health coverage and retirement plans.

Earnings and Bonus Possibilities

Job Description

You are tasked with driving on the highways, pulling 48 ft. flatbed trailers over long distances.

Pay Increases

The payment structure begins with a rate of $.01 per mile after a 90-day period, with subsequent annual increases of $.01 on each anniversary date until it reaches a maximum of $.70 per mile

Monthly Bonus (Performance-Based)

Possible monthly earnings reaching up to $.05 per thousand impressions

Per Diem

- The rate of payment for Drivers includes $0.10 per thousand impressions

Military Pay

Individuals who are currently behind the wheel or have been actively driving within the last 24 months

After two years of verified service, employees will receive an extra $.01 for every thousand views (CPM)

There is a pay bump of 2 cents per thousand clicks for those with verified service exceeding 2 years

Tarp/Securement Pay
• $50 Total
• $25 to tarp/untarp
• $25 to secure/unsecure

Stop Pay

With the exclusion of the load origin and final delivery spots, the fee for pickup and drop-off services is $15.00

Detention Pay

A charge of $20 per hour will be incurred for late delivery, with a maximum penalty of $200 for every 24-hour period

Layover Pay

At a cost of $75, a layover extending 24 hours is allowed, with each following day incurring a fee of $100

Breakdown Pay

For the first day, payment is set at $100, increasing to $150 on the second day, and then to $200 for each day following the third

$40 plus mileage

Minimum Pay Criteria

1) Required to be prepared for action on a five-day basis

2) Rejecting loads when there is no remaining room for additional goods

3) Meet the weekly submission deadline for paperwork

4) All products are delivered on time, and there are no incidents of service failures by drivers

5) Free from any CSA violations

6) Preventable incidents need to be eradicated

Orientation and Onboarding

Orientation Pay

Obtain $500 after finishing the Orientation session

Over the course of three days, Fort Dodge, IA, will be the vibrant backdrop for the event, presenting attendees with a myriad of experiences to engage in

Traveling to Orientation

You have the option to rent a vehicle, take a plane, or be reimbursed for driving your own car

Physicals

Individuals seeking to apply must possess a comprehensive physical examination that is recent within a half-year, authenticated for a duration of six months or beyond, and with an expiration date that is not within the following three months. Alternatively, they can choose to undergo a new physical either prior to or upon their participation in the Fort Dodge, IA Orientation.

Drug Test

Prior to attending the Orientation, all applicants will be required to partake in a pre-employment urinalysis and hair follicle drug examination. If it is not possible to conduct these tests in advance, they will be carried out at the start of the Orientation. Drivers will only be permitted to operate their truck once tests confirm a negative result.
