Responsibilities:
• Perform duties involving the operation of tractor-trailers, with a firm commitment to road safety and operational effectiveness.
• Carry out meticulous pre-journey and post-journey checks to ascertain the road-readiness of the vehicle.
• Develop strategic plans to improve the efficiency of delivery routes and ensure on-time arrivals.
• Abide by the necessary procedures for handling and packaging to maintain the safety of the goods during transit.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with both dispatchers and clients.
• Record work hours diligently and carry out regular vehicle maintenance inspections.
• Ensure adherence to the safety regulations and guidelines set by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Promptly reporting vehicle issues, incidents, or violations is crucial for maintaining compliance.

Qualifications:
• Possessing an authentic Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Untarnished driving record with no major offenses.
• Ensuring compliance with the DOT's criteria for physical exams and substance tests.
• The ability to organize effectively and manage time well is valuable.
• Knowledge in the safe handling and transportation of sizable or unusually big loads.
• Strong focus on relationship-building in the delivery of exceptional customer service.
• Prioritizing the implementation of safety protocols and compliance with regulations, with a dedicated approach to reporting incidents promptly.

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Participants in our structured 12-week training program for new commercial drivers, designed to accelerate skill development for drivers with experience ranging from three months to five years.

Preferred Experience:
• Proficiency in operating a range of trailer varieties, such as dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• In-depth understanding of managing multiple unit operations, combination vehicle tasks, and the complexities of multi-modal transportation.
• Expertise in dealing with residential items and customized logistics.
