Upfield is seeking a Business Development Director for Key Accounts in QSR/HORECA within Emerging Markets, based in Dubai. The role involves driving sales and profit targets, developing strategies for regional accounts, collaborating with teams, and representing the company in the industry. About the position

The Business Development Director is responsible for delivering sales and profit targets for regional key accounts in emerging markets. Key tasks include developing strategies to penetrate regional QSR/HORECA chain accounts, leading joint business plans, and collaborating closely with country FS teams. The role also involves reviewing business performance, securing investments, and advising on product portfolios. Representing Upfield Professional in the industry and ensuring service delivery through close cooperation with SC and R&D are also crucial. The position reports to the Head of Food Service Emerging Markets.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?
• Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement strategies to penetrate and onboard regional QSR/HORECA chain accounts, and lead joint business plans with these accounts.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with country FS teams, SC, and R&D to drive the chains agenda and ensure service delivery against key account contracts.
• Performance and Investment: Review business performance in Monthly Growth Meetings and secure necessary investments to meet business targets.
• Industry Representation: Represent Upfield Professional as an industry expert in trade organizations and other forums.
• Customer Focus and Marketing: Advise on product portfolios to win in QSR/HORECA, and unlock opportunities for omni-channel diner activation/campaigns with marketing support.
