EXPECTED OUTCOMES AND REQUIREMENTS

Coast has identified the need for a Business Development Analyst to spearhead our commercial real estate (CRE) lead origination and generation efforts and enhance our portfolio of solar projects. This role will play a pivotal part in souring new CRE owners, managing Coast's CRE network, and conducting analysis on potential CRE portfolios. This person will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, to drive business development initiatives and streamline origination processes. Responsibilities include:
• Analyze potential CRE portfolios and properties for solar, energy storage and EV Charging viability
• Manage and track CRE leads effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and reporting
• Conduct thorough research on commercial real estate (CRE) databases to identify potential CRE owners and portfolios for solar, energy storage and EV Charging opportunities
• Update and maintain sales collateral and proposals, ensuring they reflect accurate and compelling information
• Act as liaison between internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and project updates
• Provide monthly reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in planning CRE networking events and outreach opportunities
• Assist in the development of strategies to source new CRE properties and portfolios
• Assist in ensuring lead, project and CRE owner records are maintained with updated information on Coast's CRM and development management software
• Generally, assist the Coast direct-to-CRE team

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• 1-3 years of experience in the solar industry; commercial and industry (C&I) preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with engaging internal and external stakeholders
• Highly detail-oriented and organized individual
• Innovative and organized self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
• Energetic and driven personality who thrives in a high-paced, dynamic, small-company environment
• Experience with or exposure to commercial real estate preferred
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related preferred
• Must be located in, or willing to relocate to the LA/El Segundo, CA area
