Catalera BioSolutions is seeking a talented Business Development Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in driving business growth through insightful, data-driven analysis.
As a Business Development Analyst at Catalera, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive business analyses and strategic recommendations that inform key decisions and shape the direction of the company.
Our ideal candidate excels at analyzing industry trends, financial data, and identifying strategic opportunities. You will be able to effectively communicate insights that will contribute to Catalera's success and growth.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Analysis
• Conduct detailed, data-driven analyses of markets, companies, and business opportunities to support key decisions related to licensing, acquisitions, and partnerships.
• Prepare well-structured business cases, reports, and presentations that help guide decision-making processes at all levels of the organization.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on market analysis and financial insights to identify growth opportunities and guide Catalera's overall business strategy.
• Analyze and report on market trends within the agricultural biotech industry, presenting findings to inform key decisions around product development, technology advancements, and market expansion.
• Directly contribute to Catalera's growth by delivering actionable insights and recommendations to support innovation and commercial success.
• Additional duties as needed to support Catalera’s business objectives.

• Keep current with emerging technologies, as well as global standards related to our business.
• Understand and communicate new market opportunities and advancements through business cases.
Project Teamwork
• Collaborate regularly with teams to provide data-driven business analysis to support decision making.
• Regularly communicate and update the team on progress, successes, challenges, and solutions.
ABOUT YOU
• Hands-on and can-do attitude, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
• Proven track record with business analysis and excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements and analysis into actionable strategies.
• Strong collaboration/interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Creative and resourceful problem-solver used to multi-tasking
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• BSc degree in economics, marketing, agriculture or related fields, or the equivalent education and years of experience
• 5+ years’ experience in a business analyst or marketing role focusing on agriculture, consumer pest and disease control.
• Strong experience with analyzing market data and developing financial analysis and recommendations
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Hands-on and make it happen attitude
• Impeccable attention to details
• High level of critical thinking to develop actionable solutions
• Solid influential skills to drive consensus and tackle hard problems in innovative ways
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work schedules, as required.
• Ability to up to 15% primarily in the US, Canada and Mexico.
