Job Description

Generate Capital is hiring a Business Analyst for Financial Systems in a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office and two days remote. The position involves collaborating with financial teams to enhance technology capabilities, managing stakeholder projects, and improving business processes. Location:

This hybrid role requires three days in the office/two days remote, and can be based in one of the following locations: San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; Washington D.C.; or Phoenix, AZ.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly analytical and self-directed individual who is excited by the opportunity to work across the financial organization and deliver value to our business partners through enhanced technological capabilities. This person is passionate about the type of work Generate is doing, looking to apply their experience to help scale a growing business and drive critical internal process efficiencies and initiatives. This person can juggle – and juggle well – managing a variety of stakeholders and projects simultaneously while providing the highest standards of service.

What you will be doing at Generate Capital as a Business Analyst, Financial Systems:
• Work with financial and business operations teams to gather technical requirements, identify gaps and implement new features within our suite of finance and accounting systems.
• Deliver on roadmap features
• Work with developers and other members of the technology team to deliver high value enhancements in systems across accounts payable, procurement, accounts receivable, financial consolidation, treasury, and financial reporting planning and analysis.
• Handle day to day support and enhancement requests
• Provide recommendations for business process improvement to align with system functionality
• Drive adherence to execution within an agile development and delivery methodology

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within financial and accounting systems including, procure to pay, accounts receivable, treasury management, close and consolidation, reporting and analysis.

• Ability to synthesize and deliver on complex technical requirements
• Resourceful and creative in approach to problem solving
• Proven ability to work with diverse groups of people in challenging and complex endeavors

Generate’s compensation packages are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Salary decisions take into account a wide variety of factors including, but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000. In addition, the compensation package may include a discretionary bonus and other benefits, including health care benefits, retirement benefits, benefits permitting paid days off (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid time off or vacation benefits), and other benefits that must be reported for federal tax purposes. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of this range.
