Burbank In Person Environmental Science Tutor

BuffTutor Network is seeking an in-person Environmental Science Tutor in Burbank, CA. Tutors provide 1-on-1 academic assistance to high school and university students, primarily in STEM subjects. Candidates should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and tutoring experience. Benefits include setting your own rate and schedule. Tutors are independent contractors and must have work permissions. Pay ranges from $15 to $80 per hour.

Responsibilities:
• Provide 1-on-1 in-person or online tutoring to university and/or high school students. We are primarily hiring STEM tutors to assist with courses such as Math, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Have at least a 3.0 or better major GPA (out of 4.0).
• Have earned a B or better in the courses you wish to tutor.
• Have at least one year (or two semesters) of experience as a tutor, teacher, teaching/learning assistant or instructor.
• Have excellent communication skills and you must be fluent in the language that you teach in. Foreign Language tutors must be fluent in the Foreign Language they wish to tutor.
