Job Description
TasNetworks is seeking a Brand and Strategic Communications Lead in Hobart, TAS. This role involves developing communication strategies, leading a multidisciplinary team, and enhancing brand awareness in the community. Candidates should have expertise in campaign management, strong communication skills, and a passion for brand management. About The Role
Working within our enthusiastic stakeholder team, we have a wonderful opportunity in this newly created role of Brand and Strategic Communications Lead.
The role is responsible for developing an array of internal and external communications strategies, driving the development of campaigns and communications that elevate the TasNetworks brand and maximise positive awareness.
What You’ll Do
• Lead an experienced multi disciplinary team, fostering an inclusive and positive culture
• You will build effective, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring accurate internal and external communications
• Build brand awareness and credibility in the Tasmanian community, working across business areas to develop an active pipeline of proactive campaigns
• Drive positive brand reputation, predicting and engaging resources required to achieve outcomes
About You
We are excited to hear from candidates who have a lived passion for brand and communications, and strong expertise in campaign development and management.
Your demonstrated ability to work with various key stakeholders across a similar size organisation, coupled with very strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for this role.
You will have a sound understanding of social responsibility, best practice brand management and reputation risk and response.
You will have experience in facilitating discussions, drawing upon your effective influencing and negotiation skills to achieve positive outcomes.
Engaging storytelling and proven social media management are further attributes required to succeed in this role.
