Biofuels Trader

Biofront Commodities is seeking a Biofuels Trader in Singapore to manage a trading book for bio-feedstocks like Used Cooking Oil and Palm Oil Mill Effluent. The role involves originating supply, structuring deals, and collaborating with global offices. Candidates should have 2-5 years of commodity trading experience, strong negotiation skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. This is a full-time position with travel requirements.
About Us:

Biofront Commodities is one of the largest suppliers and traders of waste-based feedstocks for the production of advanced biofuels, these include Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME). Products are supplied to bio-refineries globally for the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Renewable Diesel (RD).

Today we have operations across 6 countries where we collect, bulk and deliver these materials to oil majors. Our global network now encompasses +250 staff and we have traded over $350m of bio-products to date.

We are expanding our certified Tyre and Plastic Pyrolysis business along with our Veg OIls, Biochar and Carbon Credits business units in 2026.

Our product portfolio includes:
• Biodiesel, HVO, SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel)
• Used Cooking Oil (UCO), Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME), Refined UCO/POME
• Tyre and Plastic Pyrolysis Oils
• Vegetable Oils and Derivatives
• Refining By-Products, Soapstock Acid Oil, Spent Bleaching Earth Oil

The Role
• We’re looking for a Biofuels Trader/Originator to join our growing team.
• You’ll build and manage your own bio-commodities trading book, supported by an experienced operations and management team.
• This is a front-line, entrepreneurial role where your P&L and deal flow will define your success.

What You’ll Do
• Originate and grow bio-feedstock supply and trading volumes
• Structure and negotiate offtake, tolling, and blending deals
• Work with global offices on allocations, financing, and risk
• Support our asset-based projects in the region
• Take full ownership of strategy, trading, and performance

What We’re Looking For
• 2–5 years’ experience in physical commodity trading, biofuels, or feedstock origination related roles
• Proven deal-making or business development background
• Entrepreneurial mindset — motivated by performance and autonomy
• Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
• Willing to travel and thrive in fast-moving environments
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
