Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Manager/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bicycle maintenance and repair, with expertise in road bikes, custom builds and high end service work. As a Service Manager/ Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that bicycles are operating safely and efficiently. Your role will also involve managing part-time service technicians as well as interacting with customers to provide excellent service and support.

Duties
• Manage storewide bicycle service and oversee part-time technicians
• Perform comprehensive bicycle service to identify and solve issues.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve bicycle problems.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
• Assist in sales of bicycle services and products to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of service quality.

Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Service Manager/Technician or similar role in the bicycle industry.
• Strong knowledge of bicycle maintenance practices
• Familiarity with bicycle service management systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.
