The technician will be expected to prepare and implement switching for high voltage (HV), medium voltage (MV), and low voltage (LV) equipment, while adhering to established safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols. The role requires operating electrical and mechanical power plant systems, participating in necessary training (which may involve limited travel), and performing technical and administrative duties related to the operation and maintenance of the power plant. Additionally, the technician may assist with site vegetation management and will be responsible for writing and assisting with various plant documents, including Plant Orders and Operating Instructions. The technician must ensure compliance with NERC standards while operating the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facility and must perform all work in accordance with environmental and safety requirements.
