What does the day to day look like?
The Back Office Product Support focus is on providing end user support, including, to correctly maintain the functional requirements of the back-office systems (including but not limited to FileLinx and Workday).

The Back Office Product Support is responsible for incoming incidents and requests via the Service Portal and will be the first to review and set priorities of required support.

The Back Office Product Support will discuss with the (back office) Product Owner the prioritisation of each request and implement the request after approval by PO.

The Back Office Product Support will work closely with external consultants when the request requires more detailed Workday knowledge or where we require additional resource to deliver a particular change.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks
• Providing end user support on accounting questions from the Finance community related to accounting systems and processes responding swiftly and accurately
• Providing end user support on non-finance related questions from the Atlas organization related to back office systems and processes responding swiftly and accurately
• Translating functional (not technical) system requirements from incoming requests via Service Portal and aligning with the back-office product owner on prioritisation
• Giving support on workable solutions for the Finance community
• Light configuration of Workday and any other back-office systems when necessary
• Assist and provide support to external consultants
• Setup, configure and maintain security rights, roles and individual level permissions
• Support in maintaining the HR updates relating to organisation data
• This is a junior position with the opportunity to grow into a Back Office Configurator role

Skills and Expertise
• A degree in either ICT, business administration / economics / accounting information systems or as an engineer; or has the ability to perform at this level by relevant experience.
• Has a passion for IT / configuration experience
• Understands basic Finance processes / accounting experience
• The ability to elicit requirements, design a process and define process steps
• Analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
• Investigator mentality (answering the ‘why’ behind the request / get to the bottom of a request)
• Service minded (to the level that we own the question and answer and not just satisfy the customer)
• Safeguard company policies and standards.
• Teamwork: Making active contributions to joint results or problem resolutions, also when the collaboration concerns a subject that is not in their own direct personal interest.
• Able to communicate clearly (fluently) in the English language, both written and verbal.
