BESS Technical Engineer - Chinese speaking, relocation to BNE required

BrillianTalent is seeking a Chinese-speaking BESS Technical Engineer to relocate to Brisbane, Australia. This full-time role involves leading the design and deployment of utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) while ensuring compliance with regulations. The position requires a degree in electrical engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. An attractive salary package and relocation assistance are offered.

Role Summary

The Senior Technical Sales Engineer will spearhead the technical design and deployment of commercial and utility-scale BESS projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and comply with regulatory standards. The role will also involve direct communication with Chinese suppliers to coordinate on product specifications and technical requirements.

• Project Design and Implementation:
• Lead the technical design, specification, and deployment of BESS solutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and clients to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Oversee certification processes for BESS solutions, including residential battery systems for Clean Energy Council approval.
• Ensure all installations adhere to Australian safety and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with government and private enterprises to deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide technical expertise during client meetings and project discussions.
• Work closely with the GM and other team members to align technical and business objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications And Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in BESS design and implementation.
• Knowledge of Australian energy standards and certification processes.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
