Athletics Laborer

The City of Bowling Green is seeking a part-time Athletics Laborer to maintain parks and recreation facilities, ensuring they are clean and ready for sports activities. Your mission:

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
• Taking care of a variety of awesome spaces, including Lampkin Park, Hobson Grove Park, Lovers Lane Soccer Facility, Kummer Little Recreation Center, and Carr Gymnasium.
• Keeping the playing fields and courts in top shape, cleaning restrooms and dugouts, picking up trash, marking off fields for games, tidying up storage rooms and offices.
• Making sure the batters boxes and pitcher's mounds are always game-ready.
• During the winter, you'll also oversee youth and adult basketball practices and games, making sure everything runs smoothly!
REQUIREMENTS:
• Requires knowledge of rules and regulations for softball, baseball, basketball, and volleyball (depending on season); and ability to operate field maintenance equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED; First Aid & CPR certification a plus
• Age 18+.
SALARY: Pay Grade 30; $15/hr;

HOURS: 20-25 hours per week, primarily evenings (during the winter months) and weekends. Scheduled hours may vary in summer months.
