Responsibilities
• Implement packaging strategies that align with the company's sustainability goals and objectives.

• Innovate and design multiple structure solutions to meet various category needs.

• Collaborate with additional engineers to optimize between primary and secondary/tertiary packaging.

• Create and approve technical drawings/die lines/Costing Mechanical Artwork (CMA), pallet and container load diagrams.

• Maintain working knowledge and perform ISTA testing.
,
• Operate packaging lab equipment to support development and testing.
,
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into creative development and sourcing processes.

• Assist in tracking and reporting on progress towards sustainability goals.

• Analyze trends and opportunities for solution longevity.

• Conduct market research and stay up to date on sustainable sourcing developments to continuously improve cost efficiency.

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in Packaging Engineering, Structural Design preferred.

• Familiarity with industry standard packaging engineering software and hardware including Artios CAD, CAPE Pack, and Kongsberg.

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).

• Familiarity with industry certifications and standards.

• Ability to take initiative and work on multiple projects under deadlines and business schedules.
