Associate Director of Renewable Investments

HASI is seeking an Associate Director of Renewable Investments in Annapolis, MD. The role involves analyzing the investment portfolio, conducting due diligence on new opportunities, and managing financial models. Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Economics, or Business, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience in renewable energy finance or investment banking. Strong Excel skills are required.
Role OverviewThis position involves supporting the review and analysis of HASIs existing investment portfolio, as well as due diligence of new opportunities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy project finance/valuation or finance/investment banking in the power sector.

Key Responsibilities
• Detailed performance review of operating portfolios, including production, revenue, and expenses.
• Manage dataflows from investments and map them into internal databases.
• Build and manage financial models to analyze economics and review risks.
• Collaborate with portfolio management and investment teams to achieve objectives.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree from a four-year institution or Masters in Finance, Economics, or Business.
• CFA Charter holder or candidate would be a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in renewable energy project finance/valuation or finance/investment banking in the power sector.
• Excellent Excel skills, with experience working with complex models required.
