PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for identifying patterns and trends in available information sources to assists management with operational decision making, policy formulation, and other managerial functions.

KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Understand the assigned business challenge to assist in developing a performance improvement plan
Extract information from internal systems, industry reports, public information, field reports, and other data sources to identify correlations
Conduct statistical analyses and randomized controlled trials
Consume and consolidate large amounts of data into centralized, sustainable, and repeatable measurements
Apply statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling and business analysis to manage and manipulate complex high-volume data from a variety of sources
Develop, analyze, and model operational, economic, management, and other organizational data
• Quantify the competitive performance of business segments
• Evaluate potential operational changes
• Design new approaches and methodologies
Provide data to facilitate analyses of organizational performance and assist in providing innovative corrective actions when necessary
Track trend analyses and programmatic changes that result in a growing data base of useful information
Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum one year of related experience
• Knowledge of standard programming language such as SAS, C, C++, Python, or Java preferred
• Experience with analytics and visualization tools preferred
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the following with or without an accommodation; sitting, seeing, hearing, and utilization of a computer and office equipment. The working environment consists of indoor and climate-controlled settings.
