Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role, you will be part of the Commercial Banking Sustainable Finance (SF) group which is responsible for the execution of the mid-market ESG (environmental, social, and governance) strategy as it relates to client engagement, advisory and structuring across RBC’s Commercial Banking client base. The SF team develops financing solutions that support the requirements of Commercial Banking clients integrating a range of ESG initiatives, as well as structuring advice relating to Sustainable Finance loan products, including Green Loans (GL) and Sustainability Linked Loans (SLL). We have responsibility for SF related matters on these transactions, from identifying fit with clients, informing them on product offerings, evaluating and establishing KPI/appropriate use of proceeds, reviewing loan documentation, coordinating with environmental risk as well as monitoring and compliance.
