Associate, Sustainable Business Development

The Associate, Sustainable Business Development at COOPERATIEVE RABOBANK U.A. in Singapore focuses on enhancing sustainable development for clients across Southeast Asia. Responsibilities include supporting sustainability strategies, identifying business opportunities, implementing sustainable finance products, and organizing training programs and client events. This full-time position does not require a specific degree and offers a salary of SGD 6K–SGD 7K per month.
Playing a central role in the sustainable development of Rabobank and its clients. As a Sustainable Business Development Associate, you are supporting the sustainability engagement with our clients and creating new business opportunities for Rabobank Singapore covering Southeast Asia clients, in the heart of the region with the largest population, actively contributing to the Group’s Growing a Better World Together strategy. A responsibility with impact, which you shape with great empathy for the customer.

The key responsibilities and accountabilities of this role are to:

· Contributing to achieving the goals of the regional sustainability strategy, which include business development, ensuring a future-proof portfolio and sharing knowledge via training programs;

· Identifying opportunities for business development and responsible for the implementation of innovative sustainable finance products strategy in the region (e.g. Carbon Bank, Blended Finance, Carbon Transition Loan, Foodbytes, etc)

· Support Sustainability Lead and Relationship Managers in client engagement to identify clients’ needs against Rabobank’s sustainable finance capabilities from origination to execution

· Contributing to the ongoing integration of sustainability policies in the business, complying with regulatory demands and meeting Rabobank Group-level ambitions and commitments;

· Organising relevant training programs for colleagues in the region, as well as high-profile client events focused on sustainability.
