About the position
The Associate position at the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance involves supporting the Lab's Program Management Team in executing its vision for impactful sustainable investment. The role requires a highly organized professional with experience in program management, process oversight, and stakeholder engagement, aimed at driving private investment into climate change mitigation and adaptation initiatives in developing countries.
Responsibilities
• Support the execution of the Lab process, serving as a resource for questions and issues for Lab staff and consultants.

• Oversee the global budget for the Lab, monitoring milestones and drafting donor narrative and financial reporting.
,
• Track and map processes and timelines for the Lab's financial instrument development and analysis.
,
• Facilitate and prepare internal Lab meetings, including drafting agendas and presentations.
,
• Liaise with Lab Analysts and proponent teams to ensure progress against milestones and troubleshoot issues with the Global Program Manager.
,
• Support the Lab Communications Lead in reviewing external communications and coordinating reports and grant submissions.
,
• Draft external communications including emails, memos, and meeting agendas.
,
• Organize and implement virtual and in-person Lab meetings.
,
• Support fundraising efforts by engaging with potential funders and developing proposals.
,
• Assist in developing a Lab membership engagement strategy.
Requirements
• BA or BS degree in Business, International Development/Affairs, Public Policy, or equivalent experience.
,
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant career experience in global advisory institutions, multilaterals, NGOs, or financial services firms.
,
• Experience supporting a large, complex program with a global staff.
,
• Experience managing government grants is highly desirable.
,
• Demonstrated interest in climate finance, international climate policy, or sustainable development.
,
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
,
• Experience with project management software and content management systems.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with incubators, accelerators, or multi-stakeholder partnerships.
,
• Experience with MS Project or Notion.
,
• Experience with Airtable or other CRM software.
,
• Working knowledge of a second language, particularly Spanish or Portuguese.
