About the position

Earlham College is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Business in Sustainable Supply Chain Management to begin in Spring 2025 or Fall 2025. The role involves teaching and scholarly interests in sustainable supply chains, the circular economy, and humanitarian logistics, with a focus on the intersection of business and society, including ethics, sustainability, and social justice. The position offers opportunities for research collaboration with students and mentoring in business-related competitions.

Responsibilities
• Teach an introductory supply chain course.

• Teach upper-level undergraduate courses in the business major's supply chain concentration.

• Mold the supply chain concentration by offering existing and new courses.

• Contribute to intellectual activities at the College.

• Provide service to the Earlham community through advising and other activities.

Requirements
• Holds (or is currently completing) a terminal degree in supply chain management or related fields.

• Individuals with a relevant master's degree and 5+ years of professional experience may also be considered for the position, though it might be non-tenure-track, depending on the circumstances.

• Possess a strong commitment to teaching excellence.
