About the position
The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking an Assistant Professor in Climate-Related Extreme Events to join the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR). This faculty position focuses on researching climate-related hazards and their environmental impacts, particularly at the surface-atmosphere and terrestrial-aquatic interfaces. Responsibilities
• Establish a program of research supported by awards from extramural agencies.

• Contribute to the teaching mission of the undergraduate and graduate programs.

• Provide teaching and mentoring for undergraduate and graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.

Requirements
• Completed Ph.D.
