ANNEA.ai GmbH is hiring an Asset Reliability Engineer focused on Wind Energy and Data in Hamburg, Germany. Your mission
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Asset Reliability Engineer with focus on Wind Energy and Data Science to join our dynamic team. As an Asset Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our predictive maintenance and asset performance optimization platform for wind turbines. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing the performance and longevity of wind turbines, ensuring their continuous operation, and reducing downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software developers, and domain experts to develop and refine algorithms for predictive maintenance and asset optimization.
• Analyze historical data, sensor readings, and performance metrics to identify patterns and anomalies that can be used to predict potential equipment failures or suboptimal performance.
• Design and implement reliability models, failure modes, and maintenance strategies specific to wind turbine systems.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of wind turbine components, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and control systems.
• Participate in field tests and data collection activities to validate and improve the accuracy of predictive models.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in wind turbine technology, reliability engineering, and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs and challenges, providing technical support and customized solutions.
Ultimately, we expect deep industry knowledge as well as technical and excellent industry-related engineering expertise.
Your profile
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, or asset performance optimization, preferably in the renewable energy sector or wind energy domain.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis and modeling.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing, statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and data visualization.
• Knowledge of wind turbine components, operation, and maintenance practices is a significant advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with software development and working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
