Job Description
Architectural Designer
Provide complete planning and architectural services related to improvements to or remodeling of facilities related to the BYU campus, and minor new buildings. The planning and architectural services include but are not limited to the following: Meeting with clients, concept studies, preliminary plans, working drawings, specification preparation, assisting with the preparation of project approval forms, assisting with project inspections, approving shop drawings.
What you'll do in this position:
• Lead Design Project Manager for shop projects
• Lead Design Project Manager on select contract projects ...
• Manage consulting architects on larger projects
What qualifies you for this role:
Required
• A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
• At least five (5) years of experience working in an Architect's office or a commercial interior design firm
• At least five (5) years of experience using AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam
• Associate's degree in Design/Drafting
Preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Facilities Management.
• Utah Licensed Architect

Pay Grade: 54
Typical Starting Pay:$79,500.00 to $103,500.00
