GreenTree Global is seeking an Architect Consultant in Puducherry, India, to support energy-efficient building projects. Job description

We are looking for an 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 - Consultant to support energy-efficient building projects. The role involves working with building energy codes, conducting data analysis, coordinating projects, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure sustainability compliance.

Responsibilities

1. Energy Efficiency & Building Codes
• Help implement ECBC (Energy Conservation Building Code) and ENS (Eco Niwas Samhita) for commercial and residential buildings.
• Work with state authorities, municipal bodies, and urban planners to integrate energy codes into building regulations.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze energy efficiency data for building projects.
• Prepare reports, manuals, and compliance guides to support sustainability efforts.

3. Project Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
• Work closely with State Designated Agencies (SDA), Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), and urban local bodies (ULBs).
• Support the formation of policy committees and ensure compliance with energy efficiency regulations.

4. Technical Support & Compliance
• Use simulation tools like E-Quest, AutoCAD, and MS Project for building energy modeling.
• Provide technical support for energy audits, compliance monitoring, and certification processes.

5. Training & Capacity Building
• Organize training programs on energy efficiency in buildings.
• Assist in certification processes like ECBC, Star Rating, and Shunya Labelling.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (Full-time) in Architecture/Planning from a recognized university or Institute.
• Master's degree in Energy, Building Science, or related fields is preferred.

Experience: - Minimum 6 years of relevant experience (excluding internships) in building energy efficiency and sustainable policies.

Technical Skills & Certifications (Preferred):

ECBC Master Trainer / GRIHA CP / LEED AP / IGBC AP / CMVP certification.

Knowledge of building simulation tools and policy frameworks.
