Job Description
ERM is hiring Archaeological Field Technicians for a full-time, limited-term role in Idaho Falls, ID, supporting archaeological surveys in Lincoln County. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Anthropology or Field Certification and prior field experience. Responsibilities include inspecting land for archaeological resources and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This position is outdoor-based and may last for eight weeks, with potential for extension.
ERM is hiring Archaeological Field Technicians to support survey efforts for projects located in Lincoln County, Idaho. Successful candidates will conduct archaeological field surveys. This is a full-time (40+ hours a week), limited-term field-based role for a duration of eight weeks, extendable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Visually inspecting the land surface for presence of archaeological and historic built resource.
• Working well with others
• Compliance with corporate Health and Safety requirements
• Performing other duties as assigned or required
REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's in Anthropology required, unless they have obtained Field Certification from a junior college.
• Prior archaeological field survey experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain.
• Working knowledge of archaeological survey protocols
• Ability to work in the field for extended periods of time.
