Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Electrician Apprentice to join our team. This role involves assisting with heavy-ups, main service panel swaps, main service cable replacements, installing and commissioning battery systems, and other electrical tasks. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of ,electrical principles, hands-on experience, or technical school training. Candidates with a portfolio of past work (photos preferred) will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs
• Install and commission battery storage systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems using test equipment and hand tools
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit
• Pull and terminate wires safely and efficiently
• Work in varying environments, including ladders, crawl spaces, attics, and rooftops
• Operate power tools and hand tools as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on-site
• Safely operate a company-provided service vehicle

Requirements
• Self-motivated, hardworking, and reliable
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and various temperatures
• Basic working knowledge of AC electrical systems
• Valid driver’s license (Required)
• Electrical experience (1 year preferred) or relevant technical training
• Electrical License (Preferred)
• Willingness to travel (50% of the time)

Schedule & Compensation
• 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday (4-day workweek, no weekends!)
• Salary-based pay + daily overtime (1.5x for hours over 10 per day, tracked via company vehicle GPS)
• Travel to job sites provided from our Ijamsville, MD office
