Job Description
X-energy, LLC is seeking professionals to join our Finance Team in the role of Analyst V, Government Contract Compliance. This role contributes to X-energy's Federal Government Compliance and assists in supporting Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audits, preparing X-energy's annual incurred cost proposal, preparing provisional billing rate proposals, and responding to other various requests for information and interorganizational activities. The individual in the role must exercise judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills in performing the duties while complying with established policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
• Respond to requests for information from the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) or other government agencies in support of ongoing audits with the ability to research, interpret, and understand regulations to support the company's position.
• Assist with the preparation of X-energy's annual incurred cost proposal, provisional billing rate proposals, cost accounting practice development, or other submissions (e.g., cost impacts) as required.
• Assist in federal compliance initiatives including analyzing direct and indirect rates, documenting, and reviewing time and expense and other compliance processes and procedures, and other activities as required.
• Review indirect pools and allocations each month for accuracy during accounting month end close.
• Evaluate compliance with DFARS Business System requirements, agency supplements, as applicable and development of process improvements to comply with these requirements.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation to support government compliance activities, including desktop procedures and workpapers, and training modules.
• Assist with special projects, as required.
• Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
• Lead the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities, listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document, without close supervision and extensive latitude for independent judgment.
• Provide feedback and guidance to more junior team members with the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document
• Serve as a mentor to junior team members.
• Shares knowledge related to industry best practices and standards with others across the department/division.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Typically, fifteen years of experience in a relevant role required.
• Excel proficiency and data analytic skills.
• Experience in federal government contracting and firm understanding of FAR, DFARS and CAS.
• Experience in preparing and auditing Incurred Cost Proposals.
• Demonstrated understanding of various contract types (Cost Reimbursement, Firm Fixed Price, Other Transaction Authority, Cost Plus Incentive Fee, etc.).
• Experience translating legalese or regulations into succinct, clear, and workable business solutions.
• Experience using Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred

Location: 530 Gaither Road, Rockville MD
Work Site Expectations: 3 days a week in office
Hours: 8:00am ET to 5:00pm ET, Monday - Friday

Compensation

As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.). Individual candidates who meet the job requirements for the posted position will be offered a salary within this range based on their respective levels of education/training, experience, and other qualifications unique to them. Salary ranges may vary based on the specific office location and region referenced in the posting to take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits or other incentives.

A reasonable estimate for this position at the level of experience required is:
$135,000- $172,500
