The Opportunity : The Analyst will contribute to achieving the overall goals of the Sustainable Investing team and will be responsible for supporting BentallGreenOak’s industry-leading approach to ESG. You will help the team with reporting, communications, and qualitative and quantitative research. What you will do : Conduct market research on ESG and provide insightful and relevant written analysis Support corporate sustainability disclosure and assurance requirements Assist in ESG-related reporting and disclosure requirements, including but not limited to Principles for Responsible Investing (PRI) and GRESB Draft client reports, presentations, and responses to investor related ESG questions Collaborate with the Sustainable Investing team leaders to improve ESG-related communications Support portfolio-wide sustainability initiatives and programs, including building certifications, tenant engagement, health & wellness, climate risk & resilience and ISO 14001 Assist with projects and administrative tasks as required Who you are : Highly motivated individual and self-starter with the ability to deliver high-quality work products Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to critically synthesize material and provide concise analysis and reports Ability to manage time effectively, thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment and meet critical deadlines Strong attention to detail and project management skills Critical thinker Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Political Science, Business/Finance, Environmental Science) Team player with excellent interpersonal skills that focuses on common goals and objectives Passionate about sustainability with a curiosity to expand knowledge Experience in sustainability or the commercial real estate industry is considered a strong asset Advanced skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required We thank all applicants for their interest in employment with BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
