Agriboard Green Building Systems is seeking Team Members for General Production, Shipping and Receiving, Quality Control, and Maintenance Manager roles in Marked Tree, AR. Team Member Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned duties in the manufacturing of compressed straw panels.
- Do your part to maintain a steady rate of production while performing assigned tasks.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, document and report results as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all quality control, inventory tracking, and audit protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies.
- Exhibit effective communication skills and neat handwriting.
- Collaborate effectively with all teams to meet daily production goals.
Team Member Requirements:
- Valid forklift driver's license or the willingness to become licensed.
- Ability to operate other equipment, such as tractors or Bobcats, is helpful.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality control.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
- Task-motivated and able to work effectively in a team.
General Production Team Member
- Maintain an accurate log of the daily production run and track raw material usage.
- Feed the bale processor and make certain no foreign objects enter the machine.
- Stack and band pallets making sure they are neatly stacked.
- Label, wrap and deliver pallets to the “finished products” warehouse.
- Utilize a forklift, bobcat or tractor as needed.
- Perform maintenance as requested by the Maintenance Manager.
- Be willing and able to perform in all production line functions as needed.
Shipping and Receiving Team Member
- Keep accurate, detailed and neat records of production and inventory.
- Provide daily documentation to the plant administrator.
- Work with truck drivers on incoming and outgoing loads.
- Work with Quality Control to inspect the quality of all incoming and outgoing loads.
- Verify that all incoming and outgoing shipments match accurately with the BOL.
- Maintain physical and digital records in accordance with auditing standards.
Quality Control Team Member
- Perform quality checks every 30 minutes and document live production quality.
- Verify that the product meets quality standards for size and density.
- Inspect outgoing loads to ensure Agriboard’s high quality standards are being met.
- Carry out daily inspections of the facilities to identify any potential concerns.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area and lab.
Maintenance Team Manager
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure their implementation.
- Learn and understand all functions of the mill to provide and monitor proper maintenance.
- Develop a parts list for the mill and keep components on hand to prevent downtime.
- Develop and implement routine maintenance schedules on all plant machinery including transportation equipment.
- Carry out routine inspections of the plant to identify and resolve issues.
- Maintain physical and digital records in accordance with auditing standards.
- Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality.
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
- Allocate workload and supervise the upkeep team (custodians, janitors, etc.).
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Ensure that all health and safety policies are always complied with plant-wide.
- Display excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• *For success, you should have proven experience as a maintenance manager or in
another managerial role. You should also have a solid understanding of technical
aspects such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.**
