Job Description
LPL Financial is seeking an AVP, Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee corporate office construction projects nationwide from inception to occupancy. Responsibilities include managing project delivery, vendor oversight, budget and schedule management, and enhancing project processes. Candidates should have 5+ years in construction project management and a Bachelor's degree. Strong collaboration, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Office are required. The position is based in Fort Mill, SC.
Job Overview:
We are currently looking to hire an AVP, Senior Construction Project Manager to successfully drive the full program of corporate office construction projects across the country from inception through occupancy.
Responsibilities:
• Lead consistent delivery of project management through a combination of self performance and oversight of third party vendors including general contractors, technology vendors, furniture installers, security equipment vendors, and landlord driven work
• Develop and manage ROM pricing process using internal and external benchmark to improve accuracy and identify savings opportunities in partnership with design team
• Deliver projects on time and on budget and lead “go to green strategies” for projects at risk of being off-track
• Partner with design team to improve accuracy of project scheduling and identify and implement improvement opportunities
• Manage GC selection and vendor management process
• Provide regular reporting updates to drive executive dashboard reporting and capital cashflow projections
• Create and implement enhanced project checklists for standard scope items and a consistent project close out process
• Partner with transaction management to create business cases holistic of construction costs to support new transaction decisions and scenario modeling
• Apply an informed and discerning lens on recommended construction solutions and hold vendors accountable for offering alternative options that may be higher quality, less expensive, or faster to implement

Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience in the practice of construction project management in a professional corporate environment
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Demonstrated familiarity with applicable codes and regulations; proficiency in reviewing and following landlord building regulations and tenant workletter requirements
• Ability to be a team builder and work as team member across a cross-functional team at all levels in the organization
• Familiarity with basic financial reporting systems and accounting rules (e.g. capital vs. expense)
• Proficient in standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferences:
• Ability to autonomously manage third party resources including general contractors and security equipment installers
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and model alternative scenarios and effectively engage multiple stakeholders in aligning on a desired solution
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills to maintain successful project execution when multiple stakeholder priorities for a project may not fully align
• Results oriented and outcome based
• Ability to effectively identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks
• Strong organization skills, process orientation and passion for being detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environment, and able to multi-task and prioritize project work
• Strong relationship, communication, and negotiation skills
• A highly respectful and personable approach to client and coworker interactions
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required
• Ability to interact with all levels of management
• Knowledge and ability to use analytical and problem-solving techniques
• Distil complex information to the essential for client decision making
• Ability to complete tasks and produce deliverables independently with periodic coordination
• Write client reports and deliverable text clearly and comprehensibly
• Some travel may be required

Pay Range:
$93,975-$156,625/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
