Caltrans is seeking an Associate Governmental Program Analyst in Marysville, CA, to serve as a Financial Analyst for Architectural and Engineering (A&E) and Service contracts. Job Description and Duties
Will Consider Staff Services Analyst.
Under the direction from the Chief, Consultant Services Unit (CSU), a Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent serves as the Financial Analyst for Architectural and Engineering (A&E) and Service contracts. Incumbent will coordinate and act as a crossfunctional specialist on A&E budgets in the North Region, and provide input on project related Capital Outlay Support (COS) budget data for A&E work in the North Region, Districts 1, 2, and 3.
Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Associate Governmental Program Analyst/ Staff Services Analyst exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions. Working Conditions
Position located in Marysville, Yuba County. While at their base of operation, employee will work in a climate-controlled office under artificial lighting using a personal computer. Employee may be required to travel for training or meetings. Regular and punctual attendance is required. This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans’s evolving telework policy.
