Job Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day Production, Maintenance, and Environmental Operations of the IsoNova Verona Plant.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages Production and Maintenance Operations to insure manufacture of product within the standards of budget, policies, procedures, quality, safety, sanitation, Federal and State laws.
• Manages Environmental operation within the standards of budget, policies, procedures, safety, sanitation, and Federal and State laws. Regulatory compliance includes, but is not limited to: Storm Water, Air, Waste Water, Tier II, Form R, FDA, USDA, APHIS, and HACCP.
• Develops and implements methods to improve productivity within established payroll and expense budgets.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
• Trains and develops Production and Maintenance Associates.
• Assures all Preventative Maintenance Programs are up to date and maintained.
• Assures that established policy, procedures and work rules are understood and followed.
• Strictly follows all Safety Procedures and uses all required personal protective equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
• Experience in spray drying of egg liquid. Prefer experience in cooking and drying poultry and other meat.
• Previous supervisory experience. Demonstration of success in accomplishment of work through others. Prefer experience in training and supervising.
• Must be able to read and understand equipment manuals, blueprints, etc.
• Ability to trouble shoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Must have the ability to learn all the functions and processes of the facility.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Is able to follow directions as well as give directions.
• Is successful in creating, promoting and maintaining safety programs/systems.
• Is supportive of IsoNova Company objectives, policies and procedures. Promotes and assures understand and acceptance.
• Has excellent work record.
• Must exert good leadership ability.
• Is respected by peers, subordinates and Upper Management.
• Requires initiative, and works well with people.
• Is honest and has integrity.
• Must have the ability to think and draw natural conclusions.
• Must have the ability to make correct decisions at the appropriate time.
