Communication and Outreach Specialist

The CMCC Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Communication and Outreach Specialist to support the Regional Models and geo-Hydrological Impacts (REMHI) Division team in communication, dissemination, and outreach activities in the field of climate change and its interaction with society.

CMCC Foundation is a cross-cutting scientific research center on climate change and its interactions with the environment, society, the world of business, and policymakers. Our work aims to stimulate sustainable growth, protect the environment, and develop strategies for the adaptation and mitigation of climate change.
Key Responsibilities
• Create synergies between project results/products and the Dataclime platform to increase the value of contents developed in the framework of different projects/tools and systemize them in the platform.
• Develop graphic design elements, including logos and brand identities, as well as infographics.
• Design project websites, with web development supported by other staff members.
• Implement communication and outreach activities, including drafting and editing news, content management for website and social media.
Requirements
• A minimum of 4 years of work experience in graphic and web design.
• A very good knowledge of English.
• Good communication skills.
• Professional experience in designing WordPress websites and themes with special focus on Elementor PRO and WP Bakery.
• Experience with computer graphics software, including raster and vector graphics.
• Competencies in SEO optimization.
• Experience with remote collaboration and office tools like Google Workspaces.
