Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Waste Management Driver to join our team, responsible for delivering and picking up bins in accordance with schedules, while maintaining a safe, professional, and timely manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Operating a hook lift truck to perform bin deliveries and pick-ups, adhering to safety protocols.
• Emptying bins and transferring them on and off the truck using the hook lift mechanism.
• Filling in service/delivery order forms accurately and promptly.
• Conducting daily checks and recording maintenance activities, including minor tasks such as greasing and fluid top-ups.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and well-maintenance of the truck, both inside and out.
• Demonstrating a customer-first mindset in all interactions.
• Performing additional tasks required to complete waste disposal jobs efficiently.

Key Qualifications:
• Holding a valid Class 4 driving license.
• Possessing at least 2 years of relevant experience in Waste Management (Environmental Services).
• AWSQ Certificate of Transport Waste during Waste Collection is an advantage.
• Experience with Hooklift and Rubbish Truck operation is advantageous.
• Ability to manage workload and adapt to ad-hoc operations.
• Flexibility to work 6 days a week.
