Urban Agriculture Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an Urban Agriculture Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing urban agriculture projects with a diverse range of clients, from businesses to institutions and schools.

You will work closely with the Chief Urban Farmer to coordinate and prepare materials for installations, procure supplies, and assist with installation setups during the installation period. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the maintenance of MicroHabitat's urban farms and engaging organization members by providing project information and horticultural advice.

As an Urban Agriculture Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in horticultural management, including harvesting, propagating, watering, tying tomato plants, pest and weed control, cleaning harvests, and delivering produce. You will also participate in educational activities with MicroHabitat clients, conduct quality control tasks, and generate reports for managing the roofs of urban farms.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals. You will be autonomous, versatile, and resourceful, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
