JS Money Limited is seeking a Senior Climate Resilience & Carbon Consultant to drive sustainability initiatives in London. The role involves leading carbon assessments, developing net-zero strategies, and advising on climate adaptation. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in carbon management or sustainability consulting. As SeniorConsultant you will support a challenging portfolio of projects anddigitally enabled services, provide qualitative and quantitativeresearch and analysis. You will be expected to lead on taskcompletion, handling client and stakeholder queries and deliver onprojects. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead carbon footprintassessments, climate risk analyses, and resilience planning forpublic and private sector clients. 2. Develop and implementnet-zero strategies, including setting science-based targets andemissions reduction plans. 3. Conduct climate risk andvulnerability assessments in line with frameworks such as TCFD(Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures). 4. Adviseclients on climate adaptation and mitigation strategies,integrating best practices in nature-based solutions and circulareconomy principles. 5. Stay up to date with evolving climatepolicies, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., UK Net Zero Strategy,EU Taxonomy, SFDR, CDP). 6. Manage projects, coordinate withinternal and external stakeholders, and ensure delivery ofhigh-quality reports and insights. Qualifications & Skills 1.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, ClimateChange, Sustainability, Engineering, Geography, or a related field.2. Minimum 3+ years of experience in carbon management, climaterisk analysis, or sustainability consulting. 3. Strong knowledge ofGHG accounting, climate risk frameworks (TCFD, IPCC), and corporatesustainability reporting (CDP, SBTi, GRESB, etc.). 4. Experience inconducting climate resilience assessments and advising onadaptation strategies. 5. Familiarity with carbon footprintingtools (e.g. SimaPro, GaBi, OneClick LCA, CRREM). 6. Strong dataanalysis and visualization skills (Excel, Power BI, GIS experienceis a plus). 7. Understanding of financial and regulatory climatedisclosure requirements. Nice to Have (Bonus Qualifications) 1.Chartered status with IEMA, CIWEM, CIEEM, or similar professionalbodies. 2. Experience working with financial institutions on ESGrisk assessments. 3. Knowledge of climate scenario modelling tools(e.g., UKCP18, XDI, or similar). 4. Understanding of nature-basedsolutions and biodiversity net gain (BNG).
