CGN Europe Energy is seeking a Legal Intern to assist the Legal & Compliance Department in Puteaux, France. The role involves legal research, monitoring projects, reviewing agreements related to renewable energy, and liaising with external entities. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in law, strong communication skills in French and English, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This is an internship position focused on legal matters across Europe and Africa.
As a Legal Intern with the Legal & ComplianceDepartment, you will collaborate with a team of six members,working on a diverse range of legal matters, not only in French lawbut also in countries where CGNEE has its assets, including the UK,Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, and Senegal. You will betasked to: Daily follow up on legal aspects of CGNEE projectsacross Europe and Africa; - Conduct legal research on a wide rangeof topics, including but not limited to contract law, corporatelaw, business law, EU law, public and environment law, etc.; -Legal monitoring related to the company’s activities; - Reviewcommercial agreements related to renewable energy projects (e.g.,NDA, MoU, SHA, TSA, O&M, PPA, land lease, insurance policies,etc.); - Contribute to internal reporting and legal riskassessments; - Liaise with external entities (e.g., law firms,consultants) and coordinate with internal departments of thecompany. Profile: Qualifications: - Master’s degree (M2) incontract law / business law Interpersonal Skills: - Strong oral andwritten communication skills - Proficiency in drafting legaldocuments in both English and French - Organizational and timemanagement abilities - Ability to work effectively in amulticultural environment Technical Skills: - Familiarity withlegal research tools and methods - Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - General insights on theenergy sector Language: Fluent in French and English
