1. Solar PV System Design

# Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess solar potential.

# Design solar PV systems using software like AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, SketchUp and Staad Pro.

# Select appropriate solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and electrical components.

# Ensure system design meets local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

# Perform shadow analysis, energy yield simulations, and optimization of the solar system.

# Design AC/DC electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and cable schedules.

# Calculate voltage drop, short circuit analysis, and earthing system requirements.

# Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, IS, and other relevant electrical codes.

# Collaborate with engineers for structural stability of rooftop and ground-mounted systems.

# Design solar PV mounting structures (Rooftop & Ground-mounted) using structural engineering principles.

# Perform load calculations, wind, and seismic analysis to ensure structural stability.

# Select appropriate materials (steel, aluminum, etc.) considering strength, weight, and corrosion resistance.

# Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, IS, ASCE, ASTM, etc.).

2. Estimation and Cost Analysis

# Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimation for projects.

# Calculate CAPEX, OPEX, and ROI to evaluate project viability.

# Work with suppliers and procurement teams for quotations and vendor selection.

# Optimize design to reduce costs while maintaining efficiency and reliability.
