Senior Project Manager - Sustainable/Renewable Energy

Downer is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Sustainable/Renewable Energy in Logan Central, Australia. The Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Energy & Utilities team, managing Sustainable and Renewable Energy Projects. This leadership role focuses on Logan's Water program, overseeing a portfolio of solar and battery projects.

You'll lead projects and collaborate closely with planning, design, scheduling, cost and commissioning to ensure seamless execution and long-term success.

What You'll Do
• Manage, coordinate and deliver a complex range of small and large projects, including design, construction, commissioning and handover of infrastructure and assets
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with the Design team to provide critical delivery input to the design of assets
• Develop project budgets and manage time and cost performance of projects and work packages
• Assist in the implementation of the Procurement Management Plan for projects
• Develop a project budget and monitor and control project cost

What We're Looking For
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification (Electrical preferred)
• Cert IV or Higher Project Management certification
• Leadership qualifications (Frontline Management or the like) highly regarded
• Minimum 10+ years of complex project management experience within the sustainable / renewable energy sector.
• Experience in large scale design and construct projects within the renewable energy sector including Solar and Battery Energy Storay System, EV charging facilities and Electrical infrastructure upgrade works.
• Previous team management and leadership experience
