Idaho Forest Group has been looking for YOU, a talented manager to oversee the log yard, sawmill and filing room.

You’ll be a great fit if you can:
• Manage daily activities of the green end operations, while providing leadership and guidance to team members.
• Monitor production processes to ensure targets are met while maintaining IFG quality and safety standards.
• Utilize proactive leadership that fosters teamwork and enhances IFG culture and standards.
• Train, mentor, evaluate performance and counsel team members promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Maintain acceptable production levels.

To be considered you will need:
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and safety protocols.
• Strong managerial skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team to achieve a common goal.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges creatively and effectively.
• The ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Must be willing to work nights or weekends as needed.
• A Valid Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle history for business travel in company vehicle.
• To adapt to various weather conditions, loud conditions, and airborne particles (sawdust) as we are working in a loud, industrial, sawmill!
• Pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check

What will put you over the top:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a sawmill.

The Physical Demands of this job include:

Sitting and/or standing for a full shift, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, squatting, bending at the waist, kneeling, walking varying distance, climbing stairs, and listening to equipment.
