Environmental Project Lead

beBeeEnvironmental is seeking an Environmental Project Lead in Baton Rouge, LA. The role involves managing environmental projects, overseeing fieldwork, performing data analysis, ensuring compliance with regulations, and mentoring junior staff. Candidates should have a relevant degree, a professional engineering license, and at least 10 years of experience in environmental consulting. The position offers a salary of $120K–$150K per year and is full-time.
Key Responsibilities

This role involves a range of key responsibilities including:
• Managing environmental projects involving site characterization, remedial design, and environmental compliance.
• Overseeing field work for site characterization and site remediation projects, ensuring timely delivery, schedules, and budgets are achieved.
• Performing data analysis and reporting for specific environmental project tasks with minimal supervision.
• Providing technical review for projects to comply with environmental laws, company standards, contract requirements, and related specifications.
• Developing and maintaining communication channels with clients, stakeholders, and internal personnel.
• Mentoring and training junior internal personnel to prepare them for additional roles and responsibilities.

About You
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PG) or registered Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferably in Louisiana.
• At least 10 years of experience with increasing responsibility in environmental consulting services.
• Demonstrated expertise in Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations.
• Familiarity with field investigations associated with environmental site assessments, site remediation, field management, sampling, and data analysis.
