**What your day to day looks like:**

• Design and development of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure seismic integrity and ease of manufacturing
• Creating 3D models and design packages for cabinets, internal custom metalwork, fastener design, and fabrication
• Supporting the design of cabinet hardware, electrical applications, and assemblies
• Managing Bill of Material and revision control of mechanical design packages
• Compiling technical and quality documentation for procurement, testing, and manufacturing of hardware products
• Working closely with manufacturing and outside fabricators, resolving issues, providing oversight, and ensuring products meet specifications
• Interfacing with engineering organizations and third-party test facilities in conducting equipment qualification tests
• Performing engineering calculations in support of design or analysis of products
• Executing assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements

**What we'd like to see from you:**

• **Education:** Minimum of B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• **Experience Requirements:**
• Experience with sheet metal design preferred
• Knowledge of AWS or equivalent welding requirements
• General knowledge of sheet metal welding
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault or similar software preferred
• Experience with Geometric Tolerances and Dimensions (ASME Y14.5)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team
• Highly motivated self-starter
