Your Day to Day

• Perform thermal hydraulic and piping networks engineering design and analysis for mega projects or advanced reactors
• Develop pump valve, heat exchanger, HVAC, or other equipment sizing requirements for plant design or modifications
• Identify problems and propose solutions to projects and tasks that are assigned
• Support more senior engineering personnel in various design and analysis efforts
• Communicate nature and status of work performed to appropriate technical lead and management
• Collaborate with construction, I/C, electrical, and operations project teams with internal and/or external representation
• Participate in customer, vendor, and regulator meetings as needed to present technical materials and justification of services and product designs
• Perform work within established scope, budgetary, and schedule requirements

Who You Are

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear preferred)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Experience with MathCad, MATLAB, or VBA
• Familiarity with testing and testing analysis
• Familiarity with nuclear power plant designs for operating PWR and BWRs or advanced reactors or AP1000
• Experience with Microsoft Office Software Suite
• Engineer in Training Certification or Professional Engineer License is preferable
• Ability to travel to Westinghouse or Customer site (20-50%)
