Job Description:

We're seeking a proactive and skilled Legal Manager to tackle our legal challenges head-on. Responsibilities:

There are 2 main aspects to the role. We're looking for someone to manage all of Greenly's internal legal matters but also to support the business and product teams in understanding climate regulations.

• **Contract Management:** Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Provide legal insights and facilitate smooth business operations.
• **Legal Business Partner:** Support all teams with legal matters such as HR employment topics, product IP potential litigations, compliance, etc. Develop concise one-pagers on various environmental and legal regulations for our teams.
• **Research and Product Development:** Conduct comprehensive research on Climate, Carbon, and ESG regulations. Influence the design and features of our products to help customers comply with complex regulations.

Preferred Experience:

• **Educational Background:** Law degree with a specialization or significant interest in environmental law, business law, or related fields.
• **Experience:** 4-6 years in a legal role within a corporate or technology environment. Previous exposure to SaaS businesses is advantageous.
• **Curiosity and Adaptability:** Proactive in researching and solving legal issues. Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
• **Regulatory Acumen:** Excellent legal research skills, understanding of contract law, corporate law, and environmental legislation.
• **Communication Skills:** Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear language. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• **Problem Solving & Teamwork:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• **Languages:** Proficient in French and English.
