**IT Intern** *Internship* *Student* *College*

**Job Title:** Information Technology Intern **Department:** IT Cybersecurity **Reports to:** Director IT Cybersecurity **Effective Date** **Location:** Houston, TX (Remote/Hybrid) **Travel:** 5-20%

**POSITION PURPOSE:** This is a temporary, non-exempt position reporting to the Director IT Cybersecurity. Directly support KCE's Director Information Technology Cybersecurity in a number of areas including assisting in the maintenance and oversight of company hardware, software, and cloud systems, troubleshooting IT-related issues, documentation review and improvement, remote site networking, and all other duties as required.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

• Assist in performing hardware and software installation procedures
• Provide support in diagnosing hardware, software, and networking issues and troubleshooting activities
• Assist with the creation and documentation of IT and Cybersecurity procedures
• Assist with planning and rollout of new IT and Cybersecurity projects and technologies
• Assist in the onboarding of IT resources (hardware and software) for new employees
• All other IT-related duties as required for the broader KCE company

**WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:**

• Background in Information Technology, Cybersecurity knowledge
• MS Azure experience
• Very motivated self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a small team

**Physical Requirements:** Prolonged periods of working at a computer
