Job Description

Veev's Product Engineering team is seeking a dynamic and hands-on project manager to lead various tasks and projects related to home products and systems. As the Engineering Project Manager for Home Components, you will be responsible for executing tasks and projects on time, ensuring accountability, and delivering according to plan. Projects may include developing systems and components in areas such as mechanical and structural systems for home products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage diverse engineering assignments related to residential home engineering and associated materials
• Own engineering projects from design to implementation, including evaluating new ideas and ROI
• Lead hardware development initiatives from concept to final production
• Drive process improvements and efficient project execution
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
• Maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders and provide progress updates
• Utilize standard methodologies to solve problems and address project risks
• Prepare structural, architectural, and mechanical specs for internal validations
• Analyze project status and adjust scope, schedule, or budget when necessary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years of related work experience in residential manufacturing sector
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks) is a must
• Experience with Autodesk BIM, testing software, PLM systems, etc., is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in project management tools like Gantt charts and ROI calculations
